You are asked whether or not your official game is in that directory – select Yes. If you have not as yet updated your legal game to the latest. 1) I uninstalled the Origin version of the Sims 4. 2) I installed the Steam version of Sims 4. 3) Link the accounts together by launching Sims 4 (I already did that with Titanfall 2) 4) I launched the game to check if the dlcs are recognized as already purchased. 5) I did not start my savefiles but instead closed the game and Origin.
